About Meow Matters

Meow Matters is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of North Bay Village's community cats.

Our Mission

At Meow Matters, we feed, protect, and care for the stray cats of North Bay Village.

We help them find loving homes through adoption and reduce overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts—all to ensure these cats live healthier, safer lives in our community.

Our Volunteers

Our volunteers are the heart of Meow Matters. They show up every day—rain or shine—to feed, care for, and look after the stray cats of North Bay Village. Whether it's setting up feeding stations, helping with TNR efforts, or finding loving homes for adoptable cats, nothing we do would be possible without their time, love, and dedication.

Our Impact

Feeding the stray cats of North Bay Village helps us do more than just keep them healthy—it also supports our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. By gaining their trust, we can safely trap, sterilize, and return them, helping control the population in a humane way. Our daily care makes a real difference for the cats and for our entire community.
